Trans-Pacific Maritime Conference
Quest AV produced the Trans-Pacific Maritime Conference (TPM) at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, a four-day event welcoming more than 4,000 senior executive attendees and 168 speakers. The scope covered three main stages, over 75 breakout sessions, full production management, and post-event recording delivery. From plenary programming to session capture, Quest AV managed the technical execution across the full event.
A multi-day conference at this scale across three stages and 75-plus breakout sessions requires more than technical capability. It requires orchestration. Speakers, content, transitions, and recordings all have to be coordinated simultaneously, with no room for one element to create a bottleneck for another. The added commitment of delivering all session recordings within a week of the event raised the stakes on capture quality and post-event workflow.
Quest AV producers were embedded across the event, managing show flow on every stage and ensuring consistent execution from the first session to the last. Stage design gave organizers the flexibility to vary the look and feel across three main stages without losing coherence. Recording workflows were built into the production plan from the start, so the post-event delivery timeline was achievable without compromising what was happening live.
Three main stages ran concurrently across the four days, each with its own programming, design, and technical requirements. Quest AV’s dynamic stage design gave organizers the ability to shift thematic looks and content formats across stages while maintaining a unified production standard. Quest AV producers managed every transition, working directly with speakers and organizers to keep the show moving on time and on brief. With more than 75 breakout sessions running in parallel, consistent recording quality across the board was a significant operational undertaking.
Capture had to be reliable in every room, not just the main stages, and the workflow had to support turnaround of all recordings within a week of the conference closing. That kind of delivery window requires the recording infrastructure and quality control processes to be built into the plan before load-in, not figured out after the fact. For 4,000 senior executive attendees moving between sessions and spaces over four days, the overall experience depends on seamless transitions and clear technical execution at every touchpoint.
Quest AV’s production management kept the flow of content and programming consistent throughout, so attendees and presenters could focus on the conference rather than the logistics behind it.
