League Power Up
Quest AV produced League AI’s Ignite Power-Up event at Locomotive Hall and Pilsner Hall in Toronto, working through Steam Whistle as the venue’s in-house AV partner. The three-day event combined conference programming with live entertainment, bringing together presenters, bands, and DJs across two connected spaces. Quest AV handled the full production scope, from stage design and lighting through to live streaming and remote presenter integration.
Producing across two distinct spaces simultaneously, while supporting both a conference format and live entertainment, requires the production to shift registers without losing coherence. Presenters, remote participants, live bands, and DJs each have different technical requirements. A multi-camera live stream adds another layer, demanding that what goes out to the remote audience is as deliberate and polished as the in-room experience.
Quest AV built a production framework that could serve all formats across both spaces. Stage design, lighting, and audio were configured to handle the full range of programming without requiring major resets between elements. The live streaming setup was integrated from the start rather than bolted on, with remote presenter workflows planned in advance so that transitions between in-room and remote content were smooth for both the audience in the venue and the one watching online.
Locomotive Hall and Pilsner Hall gave the event two distinct environments to work with. Quest AV managed the production across both, ensuring consistent technical quality in each space while allowing the rooms to serve their different purposes within the event program. Custom scenic elements were incorporated into the stage design to add depth and energy to the environment, giving the event a visual identity beyond standard conference setup.
Moving lights shaped the atmosphere and adapted across programming formats, from keynote sessions to live music. Audio was configured to support clear presenter delivery and full band performance, with the same system serving both without compromise. Engineers and AV technicians were on hand throughout to manage each element in real time.
The multi-camera live stream extended the event beyond the venue. Remote presenters were integrated into the live program, requiring reliable coordination between the on-site production team and participants joining from outside the room. Streaming managers handled the technical execution, keeping the online experience aligned with what was happening on the floor.
