Overview:

Adamas Intelligence’s 2nd Annual Rare Earth Mines, Magnets & Motors conference took place September 23–24 at The Ritz-Carlton Toronto. Adamas engaged Quest AV for its first conference in 2024, and the event grew in 2025 with headline keynotes including Steve Wozniak and Boston Dynamics and their robot dog, Spot.

Challenge:

We created several different designs for this project, with different room orientations, to accommodate the must-haves for this event.

Solution:

We landed on a combination of rear projection screens and LED tiles for the stage design. This allowed dynamic content behind the presenters and panels, with the LED tiles tied into the on-screen content for a complete, wide stage.

Details about the project:

New to Quest AV’s stage design considerations was Spot the robot dog: stage height and stairs, no up-light LED that might affect Spot’s performance, and where to enter and exit for a grander reveal.
